Held for collection
A small number of parcels remain in pigeonhole 14 and may be claimed by their addressees on production of the proper mark.
The Shire Post is a quiet correspondence house: a place where letters are franked, parcels are held for collection, and notices are pinned by the door. These public pages are the front of the office.
A small number of parcels remain in pigeonhole 14 and may be claimed by their addressees on production of the proper mark.
The Post does not at present accept overseas parcels exceeding two pounds in weight. Letters continue to be franked as usual.
Beyond this counter lies the working office. Correspondents with standing arrangements may apply at the side window.
